Meet Danielle

Founder

Yoga has been the catalyst in Danielle's own life for overcoming anxiety and retraining her brain to focus on gratitude and all that is positive, and for that, she is forever grateful for finding this practice and has a keen passion for bringing it to others.  Danielle formerly worked in education for nearly 20 years, as a classroom teacher, an interventionist, and an educational consultant, which coupled with motherhood, has led her to the path of wanting to bring coping skills starting at impressionable and moldable young ages.  Danielle is a 200-hour registered yoga teacher with additional training in children’s yoga and mindfulness.  Danielle strongly believes in using mindfulness as proactive prevention.  If we want to see children who are emotionally regulated, happy, and successful academically, socially, and mentally, we need to explicitly teach them how to do so. This is our responsibility just as much as it is to teach them to read, write and do arithmetics.Danielle adamantly stands behind the phrase, "He's not giving you a hard time, he's having a hard time." As an educator and as a mom, Danielle has lived this & learned this time and time again, and her hope is that the need behind the behavior will be understood and met for all children who are struggling.

Meet Jillian

Yoga & Mindfulness Instructor

Jillian Gergely has been practicing yoga since 2017, which has brought her peace and deepened her spirituality practice in her daily life. Jillian completed a 200-Hour Mindfulness, SEL, and Yoga Teacher Certification. In understanding the imperative nature of self-regulation in a student’s daily life from her pediatric occupational therapy background and utilizing her own passion for mindfulness and yoga, she hopes to blend both experiences in effort to help children utilize tools to regulate, so they can navigate at a young age in efforts to help better our community, future generation and society.  It is her hope, with her expertise as a therapist, mother and passion for yoga that students blossom into the best versions of themselves.
